Mercury
My best location called me today.....they are moving and don't want the machine in their new location. I was doing $60+ per month in there.....with no commission. The wife hates the machine. She has been complaining because the kids "play with the machine all the time". I knew it was coming. Great money in a barbershop location....hate to lose it. Ugh. Sucks. I might offer a commission once they get into the new place. Merc

whaletail116
If $10 or even $5 a month from that machine was going in their pockets, I'm sure they'd have no problem keeping it. Yes, Faith, that's what they're teaching me in school these days.
cnavendingofnepa
That's good for a barber shop. We tried one once and did about $5 for 2 months and also had to pay a commission. We gave it a few months and removed it
whaletail116
I was thinking the same thing. I have a barber shop location and I'll be removing it once the machine finds a new home. He's just next on the list.

agrantha
I would not bother with a hair solon or barbar shop unless they personally asked me for a machine.

sherlock
Sorry about the lost location merc. Speak directly to the husband, since the wife is not a fan of the machine, to see if he'll take commission. Sounds like barber shops are just like any other locations...some are good and some are bad. I would never avoid marketing to a barber shop based on those generalities. In theory, many barber shops might do well because people sit around waiting for their haircut. If I have a machine in my garage -- I've got no problem putting it in a barber shop. I can always pull the machine if it doesn't perform well once I find another location for it. Just about any safe location is better than having a machine at home. It's earning ZERO sitting in my garage. And you never know -- it could wind up being a pretty good location. I located 2 barber shops for my machines recently. I plan on going for my 1st collection on Friday. Let's see how it goes.
Mercury
Barber shops are VERY finickly locations. If it is an "old man" barbershop, you'll make zilch! The one I had was a "father and son" type of place. Go in there on a Saturday, and it was wall to wall Dads with their sons! Perfect! I might be able to get it back, who knows? JEREMYTINA
We just placed a machine in Great Clips thanks to Rob @KSL. Hopefully it does closer to the $60, and not the $5.
Rick Falcon
I have a barber shop location that averages from $20 to $30 a month.
