Gumballs not dispensing

I have a gumball machine witch is taking quarters but not dispensing any gumballs. Has this happen to anyone? what could be wrong?

Its an LYPC model single head.

Assuming you have a gumball dispensing wheel and it is properly installed, this sounds like a classic case of product pyramiding.

Give the machine a shake and make sure you have some sort of stirring mechanism in there as well.

Other causes may be that your coin mech teeth are not meshing with the gumball wheel cog. Look for misaligned wheel. Also make certain that the opening in the wheel is lined up properly with the dispensing hole when you put the globe on.

Assuming you have a gumball dispensing wheel and it is properly installed.

This is really the question to ask.  Does the wheel look like it is cut like a pie, or does it look like it has three round holes in it.  If it's the pie shaped variety, then you have a candy wheel, and you'll need to swap it for a gumball/capsule wheel.

Darryl is correct. I was assuming the use of an actual GB wheel. It would be better to start from square one and determine what wheel you are using first then go from there.

The other solutions mentioned already are probably your fix, but you might also check to make sure any labels have not fallen under the gumballs and covered the dispensing holes.  I have had this happen several times with my state tax stickers coming lose and causing problems.
