Question about condom machines

I just recently placed an order for 5 condom vending machines for 200. They are the .75 and 1.00 dual variety. Question is, are they easy to place and do they make a good profit. I know they expire so I have to keep a close eye on that, but I cant seem to find information where I look. I checked google and found a forum in the UK where I have heard success but none in the US. I knwo that there are those out there who have done this and some who have been successful. Is it a good venure to pursue? I'm not to worried about the price I paid as I will try and resell if not a good idea.

seemed like a good deal for the right price. im not worried about the cost and if the payoff is at least ok then i'm cool with it. i understand that it does seem off the wall but i wanted to try different aspects for vending and this one caught my eye. that's why i did the buy. i didn't want to miss the opportunity just in case.

I can't say I know anything about the condom vending business but I can say that the idea of purchasing a condom in a disgusting, puke and piss covered bathroom at 1am, just doesn't sit right with me.  I have no idea if people actually use the machines but it seems like their popularity seems to be fading.

On the other hand, if no other options existed, I'd certainly purchase one before sticking my member in yet another random booty without a raincoat on.

Hopefully everything works out for you.

A friend of mine owned condom vending machines many year ago.

I didn't know her at the time. She's just told me the stories...so take it for what it's worth.

She got into the condom vending biz in the 80's.

She thought the whole AIDS awareness campaign would help sell her products.

Even with the HIV scare of that decade - condoms didn't sell too well for  her.

I'm not sure how many locations she had (I know she had at least several).

She got out of it after about 2 yrs of trying.

Location Location Location, you can make it huge in the personal care vending field but breaking through some of the national companys for the prime locations will never happen. Your best bet are to go after places that are privately owned that can still do pretty well, bowling alleys, higher end bars, restaurants.
