JEREMYTINA
I am in need of a relatively good quality machine, at a cheap price. This guy in my area wants $375 for this Dixie Narco machine. I have included pics that he sent. I emailed the following and he responded Q1) do all the selections have to vend at same price or can you have multiple prices? A1)U can each selection set at it's very own price, but I do not know just how to program that. Q2) how many cans of soda does the machine hold? A2)8 selections total - about 4 have double loading capacity & 4 are single. 'Double' can hold about 2.5 to 3 cases while the single can hold 1.5 to 2 cases. Q3) Is there anything wrong with the machine? ie cracks, anything cosmetically or inside workings? A3)One of the eight vending selections is not presently working. Does not vend, appears to be the small motor. Asking price dropped/reduced because of that. I have not repaired one of these before, but it seems fairly plug n play. Does anyone know what the cost would be to repair myself? Is the machine worth the $375? Should I push to get it cheaper? Is the manual easy to obtain? Where should I get the parts? Any help is always appreciated.
antoniocinisi
I bet anything the dollar bill acceptor will go out in 1 year or less, since that brand is junk.also the machine doesnt seem to have the s ll d so it probably is an older machine.I have no idea what the value could be. G-Vending
Going by photo #2 it is a single price machine.. The list of coin mech's shows it is single price. I would say it is worth 375 but try to get it cheaper a used vend motor on ebay is 25 bucks.
antoniocinisi
i am not a full liner but it is the computer or brain of the machine that allows for multi priceing among other features.when the full liners log in they will correct any thing I am wrong about. the dollar bill acceptor that is a fact that they are junk. Technivend
It is more then likely an MPC controller. not a single price. The model and serial numbers tell alot about a machine. I would ask the seller if he will supply you with this info. The MPC was not a great setup and I would shy away from it.
JEREMYTINA
I have another lead on a machine about an hour away from me. It's a Dixie Narco 368nc s/n02276171AS without a DBA. It's a single price machine. It belongs to a repair shop, and the owner no longer uses it. He says that it has sat for two years in a climate controlled area, but that has has plugged it in and it still cools. All selections work on it as well. It has a Coinco 3000 changer. All the pics show it is in great condition and has a Pepsi graphic on the front. He wants $400 for it, and I am sure I can find a DBA, but I have never installed one before. I have a company that will sell me a used machine, with new DBA and Coin changer, deliver it, and warrant it for 90 days for $900, but I feel like it should be cheaper than it is in both cases here. What do you all think?

boldandmodern
I would stay away from that one. There are some other machines out there for you. That machine has been listed for sale for some time know. Also remember not to always look for the cheepest machines and sometime they will give you problems down the road. When I upgrade equipment I sell off the old stuff cheap, but for a reason. Not because they have problems, but because they are sure to in the near future.
