Vendstar 5000

I bought a vendstar 5000 on ebay and was wondering the reviews on them. I have done a search but not much info on this line. Seems to be better built than the 3000 as its not all plastic, the center canister is designed for patties while the two outside container holds 9lbs worth of candy. I have been doing cleaning and testing it and everything seems to work great but wondered how they held up.

To antonio: Wow my mistake... it actually doesnt state vendstar anywhere on the machine. For somereason, I cant find the model name or even the company that produced it.  I've uploaded a picture.

To Jeremytina: That's what I heard as well but they vend perfectly out of the machine. I bought the pearson's patties and the first two were the only ones that came out wrong. I ended up making sure the foil was flush and the rest came out perfectly for about 15 tested vends.Posted Image

It was made in China like all the other crap machines these off brand company's sell. The one you buy this year and the one you buy next year might not even be made by the same company. This machine is everything I don't like in a machine. Its a triple. Your stuck vending patties. You cant get parts easy. The quality is questionable at best. I don't say these things to depress you of discourage you. I just think they are true. If I were you I would try to sell it on eBay for what you paid for it and start over.

Kings,

When I started bulk vending I did the same thing.  It is called education.  I still use the first machines and they have paid for themselves.  The only machines I buy now are Northwesterns.  American made and no problems to speak of.  IF needed parts are easy and fast to get.  Go to Sams Club website and buy just one and compare!
