Rick Falcon
With Easter around the corner keep an eye out for those pastel color M&M most stores (Target,Walmart) will drop the price down to as low as 50% off after the holiday.Just an FYI and something to take advantage of, hope this helps. Good Luck and Good Selling!

cavity
Make a mix of about 25-30% of holiday to @70% regular. You won't really be able to tell. But, the added festive colors might catch a few more eyes as they pass by.

joebob051977
It sounds like a plan. I was always concerned about how they would look with the regular MM's. But if it doesn' t look too bad and sells well, then it is a bargain.
agrantha
Do you purchase the Holiday M&M's from Sams Club?
Rick Falcon
No , for a deal like this you want to visit Target or Walmart these stores tend to over stock on Holiday M&M's and than try to get rid of them at half the cost.
sbishop
Do you purchase the Holiday M&M's from Sams Club? I bought a few cases from sams at 1/2 off a few days after christmas. I did not even mix them with the regular one. When i ran out I went back to the regs and poured them on top. worked fine for me. I can't wait for my pastel m&ms! adkarr24
Got my Easter MM and PMM last night! Normally I pay $9.14 a bag, but got the pastel ones for $4.91 each. Definitely a good deal.

The Mage
If I bought them, some of my machines wouldn't have them until May. I have been able to mix in the Christmas M&M's, and think that the Halloween M&M's should blend in fine, but I would think that once June rolls around, while some people won't mind, there are some who will, and won't know there is a year shelf life on M&M's, and think that Easter was "months ago." But I wasn't around last Easter, so if anyone has done this before, did you notice any difference in sales in those machines?
Faith Vending
Sam's has these Easter MMP for $4.91 for 56 oz bag. Going fast.
sherlock
Sam's has these Easter MMP for $4.91 for 56 oz bag. Going fast. They were that price at my local sams too. There were only 3 bags left when I was there today. It's a good deal, but I didn't buy. I don't do m&m's in my machines -- except for one (special request) -- so I passed. Mercury
The general public is CLUELESS about most things. People DO NOT pay attention to most things. It won't affect sales. Merc do you guys really think that the buying public doesnt know that your putting discount holiday candy in the machine. I wouldnt buy from a machine with holiday candy mixed in. antoniocinisi
I would get comments at a location or 2 and asked them how they tasted.they said they were fine and didnt say anything about it anymore. I mix them with regular candy now to avoid any potential probloms.

JPVendCo.
the price has went down on the easter MM's. heres a tip, if you bought some within the last 10 days, take your receipt in and they will refund the difference.
JEREMYTINA
At one point do you remove the holiday M&Ms? We still have machines with Easter mix in them, and I am nervous that sales will decline if we wait too long to pull them...
BluePlate
OK, I haven't posted in awhile, but.... I went into a laundromat the other day, the current vendor had Easter M&M's in their machine. I needed to place a rack. I walked the owner over to the rack and said : " I can tell you one thing, I will never use discount holiday candy in my rack, even CVS can't rid of that crap this time of year." - "Your customers deserve better" As of May 1st the old rack is leaving and my rack is in........ I admit, it was a sales pitch, but it along with some other sales words worked - I just don't how it is worth it in the long run. It is pretty competitive out there, I try to be known for quality.
