tedk
I recently purchased a Crane 797 for an account. I was in a hurry the week the machine was delivered because I was going on holidays and I forgot to count the number of cans the the E and F columns hold. I spoke to the re-furb guy I bought it from and Crane but neither of the could tell me for sure what the column capacity is. If anyone can tell me I would rather not have to empty the columns to count them. On the same vein, I record the stock in my machines each time I service. Has anyone figured out a system to count the cans left in the columns of this machine? Thanks, Ted
mxer518
Cant help you with the capacity question but can I ask why you count the number of cans remaining in the machine when you service them? would it not be easier to just do a vend count or not count at all, these things seem like great ideas until you grow and then they become impossible tasks without hand-helds and super expensive software. mission vending
I'm not too familiar with Crane machines but it would be much easier to get cash sales total or vend count from the controller rather then count each column for accountability purposes. tedk
Thanks for the replies. As I said I was in a hurry to get the machine into service and never had a chance to look at the manual. There is a can count feature in there, so that should solve the problem for me. Thanks for pointing it out for me. Ted
