Recycling Locations

Last week I did some locating.  I pulled those 5 single gumball machines from those 5 Jackson Hewett tax locations, since they will be shutting their doors in a few days.  So I tried my best to find new locations for those machines so that I didn't have to bring them home.  I managed to place 3 of them.  But that wasn't the most fascinating thing about it.

Two of those three new locations were in fact locations where I had done business before.  However, the stores had closed, and were vacant for a time, and have reopened with new businesses inside.  One was a mexican restaurant.  Last year I had a single gumball machine in it.  It did lousy business, and I pulled it because of slow sales.  It went out of business a few few months later and now a new owner has come in and remodelled it and called it something different, and now it's kid friendly, and they let me put in one of my 5-way racks.

The second business was one I told you about before.  It was a tattoo parlour where I had a double head with gumballs and candy.  They owner said that somebody stole the machine while he was in the back using the facilities.  The new guys knew the old guys but they were not the same people.  But they did allow me to put in a double.

So, I now have this one new place I'm eying.  It's a mexican restaurant.  I've had a machine in there under the last 2 incarnations when it was a mexican restaurant, and then a chinese restuarant.  Both went out of business.  I wonder if I'm their curse  ;)

I would try the locations out,new management may mean new costumers.I would think about the mexican place though.if it already was a mexican restraunt that closed this one may close down too.unless you can easily get the machine out of there if something goes wrong I would stay away.some locations arent meant to be restraunts and can eventually close dowm for good.haveing said all that, mexican restraunts usually do well and I prefer this type of location.only thing is they NEVER call if a machine is down.
