Doing my job hunting homework.

As you may know, I am looking for a new job.  Sadly my vending company is not big enough to go full time, so I have to replace my old job with a new one.  I've been working with a job hunting consulting agency to help me find a new job.  One of their excercises is that I am suppose to network with others to help expose some opportinitues that I would not have otherwise known about.

So, to that end, I would like to ask you all if you know of any industries or companies, or individual contacts that can get me closer to my next position.

I am a UNIX/Linux system administrator with large amounts of experience in enterprise application support in the financial industry.  What this means is that I can design and build a enterprise level server, install one of many choices of Unix or Linux operating systems, and install, configure and maintain large corporate applications.

Since I have some time off, I am taking advantage of some training dollars and will be getting my certification as a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

I am in the Houston, TX area and I'm really not looking to relocate so I would be focusing in my general area.  I was recently working for IBM and was working from home 100% of the time, so if there are any out of town or out of state companies that offers work from home positions, that would be doable for me too.

I don't intend for this posting to become a disucssion thread, so please PM me if you know of any friend, recruiter, company, or organization who either has a need for my services, or has an open requirement for a position such as mine.
