mtsoccer4
Hey and thanks for reading. I have a Seaga mechanical value soda machine from earlier in the decade. All the parts are the same, thankfully, but now that it's time to order, I'm realizing they want my first born for some parts. They're pretty steep prices, and they require a minimum $25 order, on which there is a $14 shipping charge. It's hard to justify $14 shipping for some plastic parts. Point is, does anyone know who would have some extra Seaga parts, besides Seaga Mfg? Obviously I can buy them direct from them, but I'm looking to save a couple dollars if it's possible. Didn't have any luck on eBay...any ideas?
ANDERSONVENDING
Is there a way to post pics of what you need?I have a box of parts that I don't know what they fit(they came with a route purchase). John
mtsoccer4
YES. Keep an eye out tomorrow and I'll get pics up. It's an older machine (2000-2001?) and I think they've updated the style. They used to use plastic finger-like things to use as a coin rejector, and those are the things I need. They have upgraded the equipment to aluminum -- a much better idea. If you have the old machines, I just need the plastic finger thingies. If you have new parts, I could just use the whole coin rejector assembly. More later... mtsoccer4
Here are the pics I promised like a week ago! They switched up the finger looking things to a more durable aluminum. The plastic ones (white) snap with a very small amount of pressure. These little things are crucial though; if broken the machine will deliver free vends. Seaga doesn't sell just those small parts, they sell the whole assembly as a package and they charge mightily for it. If I can get some help on where to get used or new parts from another venue, please come forward. Thanks
ANDERSONVENDING
What I have are metal fingers that are 5 wide. They might work with some adjusting.I also have the price discs. John
mtsoccer4
John, OK. For now, I think I have enough price disks for the pop machine. Currently all the options are priced at 75 cents, and I think that's kind of the going rate in my area for a can of pop. Would you be willing to part with some of your metal fingers? Does it look like they're compatible? How many do you have? Feel free to email me (mtsoccer4@hotmail.com). I would be wiling to pay a fair price for whatever you allow me to purchase.
