davenj
Maybe a little more personalized approach helps to make your reply to an ad stand out. I made a buy today and the seller mentioned that he had several other responses, but I was the only one who included a phone # as an alternate contact to the usual email address. He expressed a concern about ending up on spam email lists. So maybe something as simple as including a local phone # or some type of personalized approach will give an inside track. Got a decent buy, too. NW Triple Play for 65. He also had a NW 60 with a globe there and offered it for another 10. So 75. for a Triple Play and a Single w/globe - not outrageously great, but I think a nice buy. So I know how I'll reply to future ads.
vendman0729
good job............thats a pretty good deal for those things and i have only heard good things about north western machines..............i usually leave a phone number my self when responding............some people dont even feel compfartable giving you there number and would prefer for you to give the phone number............also i stay away from sayhing things like im KIND of interested and say I AM INTERESTED.............also it helps to say "I have no problem picking up" .................another thing that i have learned recently is to start asking people if there are any others interested in what their selling
antoniocinisi
I think most sellers will almost always say there is someone else intrested to speed up the potential sale.
vendman0729
anton i think your right and that is a good point...........however, I myself when selling stuff dont lye about other people being interested if theres no one interested..............and thats because im honest...........its worth a shot anyways to ask them this question incase their honest like me
antoniocinisi
true except being honest when selling something seems to be the exception and not the case
JEREMYTINA
I always just email my offer, and leave my name, company name, and phone number. It's worked for me so far. I also email them a couple weeks later if the ad hasn't been removed to see if they still have the machines if they turn me down the first time. That has REALLY worked. An ad drops way down the list over a week or two and any calls they were getting stop.
