mainor5251
My daughters birthday party is this Saturday and we expect between 30-35 people so I thought this would be a good opportunity to network, so I set up a 1800 triple to free spin so everyone would have access to free candy at the party and would be an easy conversation starter about the business and getting locations. kai1836
That's a good idea, no shame in that!
Hillbilly
I like that. We are going to have a huge yardsale the first Saturday in June. I'm going to have a couple of machines set up there. Also going to do cold drinks.

mainor5251
Looks like it might have worked got a good lead to an office building with 35-45 people, it has a machine but it never gets serviced. Love it when a plan comes together.

antoniocinisi
Looks like it might have worked got a good lead to an office building with 35-45 people, it has a machine but it never gets serviced. Love it when a plan comes together.I guess it depends on peoples opinion of "never".I have heard it before about how a bulk machine "never" gets serviced but when I ask how long before it does get serviced I sometimes get well he hasn`t been here for two months which is a normal service cycle usually for bulk.I hope your plan does work but sometimes the public expects vending operators to be at the location more often then necessary.also if the guy truely doesnt show up when he should that could be an indicator of a poor location sometimes. mxer518
We see that with full line every day, just got into a an account because the old vendor "never serviced" and come to find out he was there about every 10 days, which for this account I would have thought a 30 day cycle would have been just fine. I still do not understand why some businesses just want me to show up for the sake of showing up even if it does not need service.
mtsoccer4
Funny. I guess it is networking; I feel like being a bulk candy vending operator is a little nerdy and don't want some people to know!! Should have charged those darn kids for the candy. at our garage sale, I sold about 10$ worth of gumballs.... Great idea. I think when we have a garage sale I'll do the same!! mainor5251
If you are embarassed about what you do you might think of finding a different line of work. I love bulk vending and don't care about anyone elses perception of me because of it.
