West Coast Vend LLC
Brand Vending continues to support their line of squishy products by designing the first web site for vending products. Special codes on each capsule will keep kids of all ages coming back to your vending machines. Codes can be used to open new places and play games on SqwishLand.com. The best part is that there will be a section called "find a vendor" which allows us to list locations where kids can buy more squishie's. Check it out... http://www.sqwishland.com/ Gary
caserri
This is a great new idea coming to bulk vending. The story was posted on our Facebook page earlier this month. I love this idea.

havending
Im not a big fan of Brand but i do like this new idea. Im just wondering how much of that cost will be passed on the operator in per bag cost.
sherlock
Im not a big fan of Brand but i do like this new idea. Im just wondering how much of that cost will be passed on the operator in per bag cost. I wondered the same thing. The mania products are already pretty much out of my cost-range. I'd imagine the Mania/caps with number codes for website usage are going to cost us even more to buy. The idea is a good one though. I just wonder how many vendors will actually post their locations on the site. Many are paranoid about posting info here. I doubt they would be more open to posting locations on the Brand Sqwish site.
West Coast Vend LLC
There is no reason for the price per capsule to change.
West Coast Vend LLC
I hope no one else in San Diego adds their stores to the site.
sherlock
There is no reason for the price per capsule to change. Hmmm. It does not cost Brand any additional money to add a code # to each capsule? How do you figure they're producing those at the same cost as caps with no code #?
West Coast Vend LLC
I am sure there will be an additional cost to them for the codes and the website but haven't heard that they would pass those cost to each customer, (us). I guess we will have to wait and see. Gary

dperry
Interesting. This sounds like a cross between Win Big Vending and Webkinz

However, I suspect that much of that will be defrayed by advertising.

MrGranger
So it's been a year since this began. Do you think it was successful?
Profits
So it's been a year since this began. Do you think it was successful? Absolutely not. I spent about 20 minutes playing the games and it's very clearly a poorly developed lackluster POS. People who play it will have zero inclination to come back, much less spend money to upgrade their accounts. If they really want to develop a successful game, Brand would take a page from the Zynga playbook and focus on developing games with similar features. CityVille comes to mind as being so polished, so incredibly addictive, so incredibly rich with features, yet implements "premium" properties and functions within the game that you might actually WANT to pay for. Contrast that to what Brand is (poorly) attempting, the thought of paying would never cross your mind. All it takes is a quick look at what they've got going on to understand why Zynga is on the front of the headlines right now with socially interactive games. It looks like Brand paid some pathetic game developer with zero credentials $20 to develop their product. It reeks of amateur game design. Great concept, sure. Terrible execution. I don't think the game has done anything for the bulk vending business. The only ones that have helped Brand Imports become as big as they are is all of us. Without vending machines and all our hard work, know one would have even known about Squishies. Gary

MrGranger
I've never done well with Squishland stuff. Probably because West Coast Vend is in my area and sold to all my customers already.
CandymachinesCom
For the longest time Sqwishland was my top seller. We would have people back ordered for months. Now, I think people are over it. Kids change their minds so quick. What do you think the next big thing will be?
