Rick Falcon
My question is if I order on line from Sam's Club and the product gets shipped directly to the store do I have to pay the shipping or does Sam's Club pick up the tab,and does it work the same way with the vending machines? JEREMYTINA
It seems like most of the items "include shipping" regardless of where they get delivered.
Quarter Master
If you order anything on the internet from Sam's and it states below the price "Delivered", that means it is delivered to your address and the shipping is included in the price you are paying. If you go to your nearest Sam's and talk to the customer service people, you may get your order a little cheaper but it will take longer to get. Most internet orders are shipped directly to you from the nearest Sam's/Wal-Mart warehouse that has it and bypass the stores altogether.

JPVendCo.
you can always waste a good portion of your afternoon with the S.O.S. system...... you can special order items at the sams member desk. it will take some time, more then likely the first person you talk to will tell you it cant be done, the second wont know how to do it. finally, after you have been there for awhile, someone who actually know what they are doing will help you do it, just to get you to leave. you do not pay shipping ordering this way, you pre-pay, it can take as many as 15 days to get it, and you pick it up from the club you ordered from. -JP

I believe what you say is true because I have asked once about possibly shipping to the store. I got a quick "nope" from the service desk clerk. When I mentioned that others had done it, all I got was another "nope". And that was that. Even if I found the right person to take the order, what if I do not receive my gum? Then who knows what "fun" I would have in order to find someone who knows how to take care of the problem since I would have already pre-paid. I think I'd rather pay the $10 for shipping. Less hassle and I get my gum in half the time.
mxer518
my exact experience, I ask top place a special order to the store and they "sorry we do not do that", knowing very well they do I explained that I have done this several times in the past, the only way I can do it is of the right employee is working the desk and I am pretty sure she only works once a week now. Any member that has been there 10+ years will know how this is done, they used to do it all the time back in the day when they were more "vendor friendly"
JEREMYTINA
We have just started to use click and pull at our Sam's so that we can just swing in and pick up our order. We haven't had issues with date codes yet, but we will always check everything before we load up just in case. Anyone had issues with this yet?
