Is this a good deal on vendstars?? And some beavers

Hello all,

So I am in full line and like it, but it occurred to me I might as well throw a few bulk machines in the mix if I can get the machines at a good deal. (I even have high volume locations I think I can get just by asking, the machines there are charity and ACTUALLY never serviced or cleaned)

So here is the two vend stars.  I was thinking of offering $100 is that a decent price for two?

and this one he is selling in a 3 groups or as one group for $600, but I offered $50 for the twin head beavers and was wondering what a good price for the whole group was. $400?

Thanks for the advice, haven't done any bulk in a few years.

Vendstars are fine units, despite being plastic. I think that $50-$75 per is a good price for a used unit, and 90 is getting a little high on his end. I recently bought a brand new one on eBay for $90 INCLUDING SHIPPING. A $100 offer for both is probably something he would accept at first, but just give him your number and tell him you'll wait around!

That is one thing I was wondering about, alot of these routes and machines up for sale seem to sit for a really long time.  Is it worth it to give them a reasonable offer and if they don't accept tell them they can give you a call if they change their minds?  Do they ever do this after a while?

I have posted before about this and been called stingy, but offer less than you feel it's worth.  This way if he accepts, you get a great deal.  If he doesn't accept, they will usually counter with another offer that will be more in line with what you think the machines are really worth.  We buy Vendstars here regularly to resell, and I can't recal the last time I paid more than $18-$20.  As far as a route,  $20-$30 for the machine, and $30 for the location is our rule of thumb.

I believe you make the most money in this business(bulk) when you buy. So, if that means offering a lower price on equipment then by all means do it.  Our selling prices generally remain the same.  .25 or .50.  Not much we can do about that.

I have a guy that is apparently selling

$1500 for 100  candy vending racks or will consider TRADING on any idea.

however I find this very hard to believe so I am either thinking it is just the frame or $1500 is for EACH rack.  He is sending me pictures Sunday.
