optimum amount of time for a toy?

I have been rotating my toys about every 3 months and service every 5 weeks or so. Is this long enough? Also do most of you rotate tattoos/stickers as frequently or more frequently than your capsuled toys?

I pretty well replace just about everything when I service a rack.  I replaced 4 our of 5 items on a 5-way the other day.  But then I replaced 3 out of 3 items on a 3 way that same day too.  One of my rules (that I don't always follow) is if it's close to empty, then I refill it.  If it's pretty well unused, then I replace it.  My service cycles are about 8 weeks.

I play it by ear but i rotate very often and also keep a supply of new items coming in from supliers.

I usually check to see what the competition is vending and I try to bring in a different selection, however I rotate most of the time on my second visit by then I'll get an idea on whats selling.

It seems the fuzzy face mustaches I can't sell enough of.  I've kept them as a regular item because of the good profit margins.

I'm glad this post happened when it did.

I've been trying to stock up on some toys for the big step into rack locations and it never entered my mind that I would probably have to rotate them. I'll have some extra stuff on hand now.
