I just happened across this product today and searched for it here but there are no discussions on it. It seems the energy fad has not subsided just yet.

I would only vend fad products that didn't require a special machine (or require you to buy one).  It looks like these would be vendable in a regular single-head machine; possibly with a small candy wheel set to the minimum opening.  However, I'm not sure if they would sell you the product without buying a machine.  Buying the 'retail' boxes would only give you a profit margin of 150% (cogs of 40%) if you kept the wheel to 1/3 oz @ $ .50 vend.

Went and serviced a location today and seen a machine with these beside mine.  One thing I thought was weird was the label completely covered the inside of the globe, I would be pissed if I put my .50 in and got nothing because the machine was empty.

JitterBeans have been around for a while.  However, several new companies have begun marketing them recently.

I always assumed they were  biz op.  i have seen lots of machines for sale up here (from the company or whatever) and yet have never seen one placed or ever heard of the product otherwise lol.  i dunno I guess it would be worth a shot IF you could buy them bulk for regular machines.

None of these appear to around here, but that doesn't mean much since time will be the true judge of what happens.  There appears to be only one other player in my current market at the moment for bulk.  There are misc candy machines around, but only one machine that I see on a regular basis.  The guy uses a single head gumball machine with Hugs not Drugs for his charity.  Anytime I get in at one of these loc's I just put in chicle, or another candy instead of DBG.  Very little energy stuff anywhere around here.
