Big Mike
It depends on the count of JB. 800? 1040? Are they really close to the size of the hole in the wheel? Mike

Hillbilly
Not sure about this but you might try putting a baffle on the rod. Maybe the weight of the jawbreakers is causing it.

dperry
How many people here vend jaw breakers? I had heard that they were a bigger liability than gum, with regards to a choking accident. Is this true? Do they sell well at all? I've considered adding 2" jaw breakers, but am askeered to do it.
Profits
How many people here vend jaw breakers? I had heard that they were a bigger liability than gum, with regards to a choking accident. It's sort of like saying "we shouldn't have roads, because people crossing the road could get run over." Sure, people do occasionally wander into traffic and get hit by a car. But if you wander into traffic, it is a reasonable assumption that you will be hit by a car. Though the liability exists, this is not a strong case against the use of roadways. The liability here is not with the people responsible for constructing the roadway. Restaurants might worry about the choking liability of serving food. They still serve food, however. There is still a chance that you might choke on the food, and die. You still need to eat. Everyone takes that risk every day. There is a certain risk you take just living life. So don't worry about it. Sure, 1:1,000,000 might choke on your jawbreaker... but we'll just chalk it up to "natural selection". The risk is clear that if you stuff something in your mouth and inhale it into your windpipe, your days might be numbered.
dperry
I'm seriously considering jawbreakers because some locations don't want gumballs. But jawbreakers cost as much as candy. They don't have the same profit margin as gumballs. But if it keeps me from losing a possibly gravy location, I may do it.
Hillbilly
Darryl, I vend the Atomic Fireballs with no problems. COG is not as good as gumballs but a whole lot better than PMM .

Nick505
Does anyone know what a box of 850 count jawbreakers goes for at A&A? My shootin hoops machine is running low on gumballs and I think it would be better to fill with something different each time it needs to be filled.
