eagle
hey everyone what do you guys and gals do to keep candy from melting in the summer? is there any vendable candy that dont melt or crack open?
Faith Vending
As a general rule all candy will melt, get suishy or crack in high humidity and heat. My rule is no a/c I pass. Just not worth it.
bostonvendor27
Another thing you might want to try is non perishable items like toys or bb's( if it's a good location for them) . I have a bar and grill that is a great location but the owner said I could only place the machine in the lobby where there is no a/c. So instead of passing on the location I put toys in and they're doing great! Just a thought. Good luck!
Rick Falcon
The best advise I can give you is try to stay away from choc. it also all depends on the direction your machine is facing if your vending out of a globe you can use a sun screen its just a piece of paper that gos inside the globe to protect the back and the sides from the sun hitting the candy. Good Luck and Good Selling!
