Profits
If I'm ordering from Sam's Club, and I already have a couple machines with matching keys, how do I ensure that machines ordered in the future will have keys matching the original machines? Swapping a million keys could be a major PITA. Any ideas?
havending
NW has a few basic key codes. if ordering from sams you will get H2914. Its always best to buy you own locks with your own code from a lock company.
Profits
Oh crap. So all machines that come from the same place have the same locks? That seems pretty ridiculous. What lock company do you recommend? I wouldn't have figured anyone besides NW would make these same types of locks.
Iolaus
When I inquired with NW a couple months ago about purchasing machines from Sam's and getting them keyed alike, they said that after I placed the order from Sam I could give them a call and let them know what keycode I need. They also said if I'd be ordering regularly they have a list of Sam's customers with their keycodes that they'll cross-reference before shipping. Here's a quote from the email I received about this: "Hi Nick, Once you place your order through Sam's you can call me and let me know if there is a specific key number you want. If you will be ordering on a regular basis, I can put you on our list of Sam's customers with the key number so every time we receive an order over, we will be able to check this list. ... Hillbilly
If you call NW Corp and request your own key# they will assign you a different number. Then when you order from Sams you will get your own key #. I've ordered 10 machines from Sams and none of them are H2914.

havending
I order my machines without locks. I have been dealing with Baton Lock for years. I have my own key # from them that will not be assigned to anyone else. One key for all my bulk and one key for all my flat vending. I agree I use LAI but the point here is that you are best off to get your own code from a lock maker. NW may get you matching keys but they still only use a hand full of locks so there are people out there with your same lock and key. And i dont want anyone else with a key to my money lol
