The statistics say I have more then 500 hours of time logged onto Vendiscuss, never did anything harder than the 5 leaf plant when I was younger but starting to get an understanding of what a crack head goes through.  Its sad but I even wake up in the middle of the night see my blackberry laying there and decide I have to have just one more hit before I go back to bed.  :-[

Hello, my name is caserri and I'm a VENDiscussaholic. I currently have 389 hours logged.  ;D

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, these stats only show time online since we installed the new forum software in May of 2009 and doesn't show time prior!

or when I- leave a VENDiscuss  page open all day

Sorry Antonio. The system only counts 30 minutes of inactivity. Then it punches your time card.  :D

Mainor,

You`ve got to look at the positive side of this. When one of those highly coveted, highly compensated moderator positions becomes available you`ll be the most qualified applicant.

Am I right Steve? :D

Sorry, but Mainor doesn't qualify.

That's a union job.

I'm only 30 minutes shy of 400 hours! I'm coming for ya Mainor!   :o

Good luck! I've had the last couple of days off and have been on here like all day for the last 2 days.  Not sure I should be saying this, but I even wake up in the middle of the night (if I'm off the next day) and check out new post.  :-[

This thread got me to thinking...

I have the capability to assign member rank by number of hours online instead of by number of posts.

Basic = less than 25 hours

Plus = 25+ hours

Premium = 100+ hours

Elite = 250+ hours

Extreme = 500+ hours

etc

etc

I originally just used the post count because It was "the norm". I wonder which metric is the better gauge? The post count or time online?

I hope T Bird doesn't see this.  ;)
