sprint54fan
Well I went to a yard sale this afternoon with my mother. It was at a skating rink that closed down and everything was piled in the shed part.. I picked up a nice beaver on a beaver chrome stand with key for 10.00!! After finding that I dug a little more and found another gum machine.. this machine is older..but I dont know how old it is.. There are no markings on it.. Its a small square (like a eagle machine).. its yellow on the sides and back and has a black front. The coin mech handle and chute door are chrome.. the chute door has thank you on it..and it comes with the orginal lock and key.. the lock is right under the chute door. The glass has the original sticker on it ..one side is blue and one side is red..it says PENNY 1 FULL TURN ...NICKEL 5 FULL TURNS I think someone asked about this exact same machine before but I cant seem to find it in the archives.. Im just curious to know what its worth..I paid 10.00 cash for it and it seems to be in good/fair condition..has some pitting on the chrome and spots on the yellow paint but still in good condition.. caserri
Without seeing a pic, I would guess an Atlas Master penny/nickel from the 1950's. I have 2 pics of them in the museum. Click on the museum banner in my signature and look at the Atlas section. Tell me if that is what you have. As for worth, I can't tell you but knowing what machine it is may help you in your research.
