Mikey B
I was reading through a service manual on a DNCB 368 and for the DNCB 368/216-7-8 it has,,,,, Can, 12oz 368 Bottle, Reg. 210 10 oz. PLB 396 I know what a 12oz can is, but what is a "Bottle, Reg"? and what is a "10oz PLB" Thanks!!!

Mikey B
but since the machine is currently set up for cans, I would need shims etc to run 20oz bottles right?
Quarter Master
A PLB is a PRE LABELED BOTTLE like a juice drink or a milk drink. The Yahoo chocolate milk drink is a PLB. The sides of the bottle are not all the same-like a can or a standard plastic bottle. They have a large bottom, then reduce down to a smaller size at the neck, then have a larger top. Hope this helps. Technivend
Your 368 will probably not do 20oz bottles. The width of the columns are to narrow to do this successfully. The age of your machine puts it back when you could get 8 oz Coke bottles and such. Odds are you are stuck at 368 cans.

Never tried 20oz bottles, However, I do know that I can vend 16.9oz bottles of water! However, I had to mess with this thing ah ma bob. (yes, I am a hillbilly red neck. lol) that causes the mechanism to make one full rotation. And actually I just stumbled upon it. one of those deals, "hmm what does this do." But on the down side, I can load twice as many cans than I can with the bottled water. 26 bottled waters vs. 48cans of soda in the same column. AZVendor
And you can't use 20 oz bottles in that machine. And stop digging up old posts from 13 years ago.
