Hillbilly
Anybody deal with them on a regular basis? How do they do? I ordered some stuff today and was pleased with the service. I talked to Vickie. Prices seemed OK. Find out about the shipping in a week or so. They are in CA so 5 days away. I know someone posted on here a while ago about them but I could not find it. She has a deal that if anyone on here asks for her and orders enough stuff at once I would get a $50 credit. As long as they give my name as a referral. Same deal goes to anybody. bostonvendor27
I haven't purchased anything from them but I did talk to vicky. She is very nice ! There prices are really good but the shipping quote I got was high so I didn't pull the plug. I suppose if I had a large enough order I would give them a shot. Let us know how it goes there Hillbilly.

Faith Vending
Vicky is the best rep out there hands down!! She will do her best to help you out. There shipping is like others a pain in the wallet. The more you order the "cheaper" it gets.
havending
She can freight me an entire pallet for 140 all the way here to bama. I would say order up esp things like bouncy balls and sticky. The lightup puffer yo yos sell great for me. Why pay 60 to 80 freight for 9 or 10 boxes. grab a pallet. their flat is good to thats how they got started. havending
I pallet about 1,200 pounds I get two layers of one inch ball and a layer of 49 then fill in odd product till i get at about 1,200. Give her your zip and she will play with it to find out at what weight you get the best frieght value. Did you get the pirate rings? are they metal? they will be a great .50 item. Hillbilly
Do you know if the freight is cheaper to a place with a loading dock? I have access to one. I'm seriously thinking of trying to go this route.

Hillbilly
No one else is doing the Saddle Rings around here. I may recap them in 2" and try for .75. I need some empty 1 caps and that would give me plenty.

lurtsman
the loading dock wont effect the price it just has to be a commercial address or they will upcharge you Any advice on what qualifies as a commercial address, and how big the difference is? Will the other shippers get you cheaper shipping if you can qualify something as a commercial address?
mizugori
plain and simple, it's a question of whether the address is zoned as residential or commercial. if it's a business it's commercial. have it shipped to your work or if you vend full-time, have it shipped to a friend's work if you can. I have stuff shipped to my storage unit, most storage places will accept shipments for you although I don't know about a pallet! I checked out TNT a while ago and was not impressed with their prices plus the crap cap rumors.
Vending Gold LLC
If you want to get the lowest price, you need to find a business with a loading dock. Try asking around at local businesses you trust and see if they will let you get it shipped there.
will.vend
Any advice on what qualifies as a commercial address, and how big the difference is? Will the other shippers get you cheaper shipping if you can qualify something as a commercial address? like miz was saying the area is zoned for commercial business, part of the upcharge is the shipper having to go into residential neighborhoods with a 53 ft tractor trailer, some areas will not allow this, it can be a logistical nightmare for the shipper. to take full advantage of using freight (pallets/skids) you need to order at least 30 to 40 cases of product, the cost will vary slightly but typically never more than 140.00 the loading dock has nothing to do with the pallet price, sometimes the trailer has a lift and sometimes it doesnt, my driver said it's luck of the draw for him hope this helps
Quarter Master
Here's what I do for pallet deliveries. When I place the order, I tell them to put "call customer before delivery" on the freight bill. When it gets to the local truck company, they set up a time and place with me for delivery. I can't take pallets here at my house.I meet the truck at a local supermarket parking lot, then just back my pick-up to it and unload the pallet. That way I don't have to mess with disposal of the pallet. I've been doing it this way for over a year and it works out just fine.
sherlock
I buy some of my flat product from tnt/cutting edge and have had luck with it. Vickie is great. She's also very good at finding your best freight options. Regarding shipping questions -- a loading dock CAN make a difference. Most trucking companies charge extra if they need to take a lift gated trailer. With most companies it's a "luck of the draw" as already mentioned. But, depending on the driver, if you have no loading dock AND they don't have a lift gate -- they won't let you unload the pallet box by box because they need to get going. This is especially true of companies who are in the habit of asking if you need a lift-gate at the time the shipping is arranged. If they asked and you said "no"...don't expect them to let you unload the pallet box by box. You'll wind up paying the lift-gate fee PLUS a redelivery fee when they have to come back out with a lift gated trailer. Some trucking companies charge over $50 more if their truck has to have a lift gate. So if you have access to a loading dock USE IT. It avoids counting on the "luck of the draw" waiting for a lift-gated trailer. AND it avoids you having to pay the lift-gate fee if you're asked up front about your unloading needs. will.vend
Regarding shipping questions -- a loading dock CAN make a difference. . fair enough sherlock! I should have said a loading dock doesnt effect the cost for me when ups freight ships my pallets. It could effect others so its best to ask upfront. treadmill
Why don't you just go to the trucking company and pick up your freight there? It won't cost you anymore than delivering to a commercial address. Just have Vicki have the trucking company "hold for customer pickup" and they will notify you when the freight arrives.
