Where do you get your balls?

I get the Disney bouncing balls from A&A, those are great. But I need some generic/filler balls. Is A&A the best source or is there another that has good deals on balls?

A&A is where we buy all of our 27mm balls. The price is comparable to RI Novelty, but the quality is much better in my opinion.

I get mine from A&A and Top Notch Toys....

What's your experience been like when buying from TNT? How much do you order at one time. I really like some of their stuff, but I really got turned off by their shipping policies. I like to make large orders, but I find I only order once a month or so, so I need to order all my month's stuff from a single location. When you order from them, how much do you usually order at one time?

Are you selling the 27 mm or the 45. I haven't tried them and won't. There's no way I'm paying 32.00 for 250 one inch balls. I get 32mm from s and b for .05 and mix with 27 mm

$32? Aren't they $10 per 250 at most places? Which is about $.04 per ball. Do you have to modify the wheels for the 32mm or will that fit most 1" wheels?

My experience has been GREAT.

I do not order huge orders from TNT and I've always been treated well.

Don't know what shipping policies you are referring to.

I order only a couple cases of balls and/or a few cases of flat from them at a time.

Vickie then shops around for cheapest shipping rates for my order, then gets back to me with the quote.

Is your experience different with the shipping procedures?

BTW, Vickie is FANTASTIC at finding the most economical shipping method for the size/weight of my order.

She has always gone out of her way in making sure I've got the lowest shipping options.

Vickie has even called me back later in the day to tell me she found a lower shipping option for me....which tells me she took the extra time/effort to continue shopping around for me.

She could have just let it go since I wouldn't have known the cheaper option was available and was already ok with the shipping quote she'd provided.

1" wheel should work perfect with 32mm.

He was referring to the "OP" about the Disney balls I do believe. I believe you will need a capsule wheel for 32mm balls.

Oh...cool. Well the higher priced Disney balls really move for me at $.50 and $1. I know that some go for the cheapest items but I do best with the licensed items. A&A is introducing a lot of new stuff which is nice for me. But I'm adding some refurb oaks and want to put some bb for .25. These Oaks aren't as pretty as my A&A, NW or Beavers, but they really are solid. I tested two just readied and they didn't misvend once after dozens of tries. They looked like a box of junk when I got them.

Can you order online or do you have to call them?

I sell my bb at .50 I just don't see a reason to pay triple for the product. Its not that I am going for the cheapest lol. I buy A&A licensed products sometimes and i also know how it feels to be stuck with it. When ordering by the case it cost about 20 dollars to ship a cs of 2000. bringing it to 276 a cs. nearly 27% cost. My way is about 9%. And I get free displays in my cs. If you start to pay upwards of 30% cost it will affect your ability to grow.

That's true but it all depends on how it sells. In the area I service the Disney products are great sellers, lots of tourists with kids here for Disneyland. If they didn't move so fast then it wouldn't be worth it, but they do. I have trouble moving the non-licensed stuff so it's not worth it to me to make a higher % off of slower selling merchandise. I've been trying new things and some of my .25 mixes are doing well...but anything over .50 seems to sit if it's not licensed. That's just me and your mileage is sure to vary.

I ordered a case of 32mm general mix from cardinal last week since A&A did not have them in stock, they told me they would have more until july. Cardinals mix is a definitely nicer, cost was $74 a case.

Did you order that by phone also? I just see the 27mm by the bag of 250 from Cardinal, then it jumps to the 45mm. http://www.cardinaldist.com/category.php?id=6

I had a talk with Vickie once, and she confused the hell out of me talking about how she had to 'educate' her customers on her shipping arrangements. It was really more than I wanted to know. She made it sound like I could not get a deal on shipping unless I bought a pallet of stuff and had it delivered by freight.

When I buy, I usually buy about 7-10 bags of 1" caps. How is shipping with them compared to A&A or Cardinal?

I'd say A&A and TNT are similar or close in shipping rates.

The A&A advantage is that they offer so much more.

This allows you to order a lot of stuff (product and/or equip) and save on shipping.

But, if you are only going to order several bags of product regardless of who you buy from, then shipping shouldn't vary too much between the two companies.

Speaking specifically about 27mm bounce balls - I like TNT's basic mix better than A&A's.

TNT's 27mm basic mix has sport balls and smiley faces in there...A&A's does not.

Can't remember what I paid for them -- but I bought them when I bought some flat from TNT.

I'm sure the BB's were at or about same price as A&A's BB price or I wouldn't have ever given them a try.

I almost bought some 2 inch cars balls but with freight. but .37 ea with freight and displays i have to pass

Couldn't you buy a few more to get the freight spread out a bit more. How many were you buying for that?
