ahha
I recently went to my tax office to apply for homestead exemption. I inadvertently said I was starting a vending machine business. (BULK CANDY) and he informed me they had a meeting stating that I would have to pay tax on each machine etc etc . Now when I applied for a business license in my city she mentioned that it was not required. So I am wondering. Are these considered tangible personal property? And does the county impose different practices than the city you are operating in? When I was looking at the info it was confusing and kept mentioning all of the stuff that a storefront owner would own associated with their business. So this doesnt make sense to me as I cant list 500 different locations of 50 dollar machines. Are they serious? He also did mention that soon the first $25 grand of property you own will be tax free. Anyone have any experience in this? BTW in case you want to know I am in St Petersburg Florida ... PINELLAS COUNTY
T BIRD
I would ask Rob Patterson at Kick Start Vending. He lives in Florida. He can help you out.
