Jax Snacks
Jax, if you read this here is some trivia for you. Jimmy Buffett has a song called "Math Sucks". It would be appropriate here. Don't know that one! But sounds like some of these commission calculations were created in Margarita Ville!!
Jax Snacks
i hate the eagles I have always been a big Eagles fan (but not football)! Saw them at the new Amway Center. There shows usually gross about $2 million with $100 being a cheap seat ticket. Joe Walsh is a trip!
West Coast Vend LLC
Gum ball prince. Tell me why you think my explanation of paying off gross sales collected is shady and why, without knowing me, would you say that I am one of those guys that go outside to count my money? caserri
I have accounts that would tell me to take all my shitt with me if I pulled a disappearing stunt like that. Then you need new accounts! Sent using Tapatalk from a phone that's smarter than me.
dperry
I've only ever had one account where they had somebody watch me when I counted out the money. Guess what! That account folded up and took all my equipment with them. Do like Steve said and find yourself new accounts. If they can't trust you, its pretty certain that you can't trust them. I've got some pretty big accounts, and some have some rather high commissions. None of them insist on watching me count the money. However I do count it all right there at the machines. The only locations where I don't count it at the machines are the ones where I don't pay commission. THEN I will count it at the car.
caserri
My comment was tongue in cheek, However I must admit that I've never had a location that insisted on watching me count the money either. Most of my commission accounts were paid by check on a quarterly basis. So I very rarely had to count money on site. Sent using Tapatalk from a phone that's smarter than me. Joe Walsh is a trip! joe walsh is good i like his solo stuff a lot funny story about him i knew a guy who was the former warden of rahway prison and said some radio station had a contest where you wrote in and if you won joe walsh would play at your house. well someone at the prison had ended up winning and walsh agreed to go along with it. this was in the late 70s or 80s i think. of course he showed up and most of the prisoners were black and didn't know who the hell he was and things started turning ugly quick. so they stop playing and he yells out what do you guys want to hear. the prisoners start yelling stuff back and he just launches right into it. they did a few requests (some r&b ) and got the hell out of there! West Coast Vend LLC
Gum ball prince. My accounts are clear on how they are paid. I pay commission on profits. I would be out of business years ago if I paid off gross collections. Let me see if I understand what you are doing. Example: Cost of product, $20. Plus sales tax and shipping. Collect $62.50 on a bag of 250 @ 25c each. You are paying 25% on gross collection of $62.50, which equals $15.62.($16) So, take the cost of the product and the commission off the gross collection. That equals: $26.80 for you. (is that right so far?) You make 38% on each bag. I don't think I would include the cost of product, taxes and shipping in to the amount I am paying commission on. Product, taxes and shipping are part of your business expenses. It's all good. You do it your way and I'll do it mine. We could go back and forth about who is right or who is wrong. Good luck with your business. Gary Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

West Coast Vend LLC
I use averages on all machines. If I am pushed to pay higher commission rates I will use products with higher profits to cover the costs without losing profit. havending
I dont really see how you are still in business selling all your capsuled toys for .25 cents. I do agree that .50 is the way to go for one inch. Supplier prices just keep going up. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
Jax Snacks
I dont really see how you are still in business selling all your capsuled toys for .25 cents. Unless the mix is watered down. Seems like bouncy balls and sticky stuff are the only 25 cent products left today.
