Vendesign 4 in 1

We just picked up our Vendesign 4 in 1's and I have a few questions. First it seems there are two different types of tin flappers inside. one with fingers and the other is a square. What are their difference uses? Also does anyone know an easy way to get the vend size piece out? And lastly does anyone have any notes on what setting is best for the most popular products to get the correct vend size?

Thanks

Thank you JLM that helps a lot. I figured out that by rubbing some vegie oil on the sizing piece guides it makes servicing it much easier.

I was bummed that 850 count gumballs wouldn't vend but I discovered that if I cut the sides off the sizing piece half way back and place half of the spacer (cut in half too) in the top position it will vend one gumball nicely. At least it was perfect on my 20 test vends.

I once tried to vend gumballs out of a candy wheel open to the largest setting. It would slice the gumballs in half every few vends. You might see the same thing happen to you.

I didn't see any of the slicing in my test. I will ask the store when we service it.

Does anyone have a trick for keeping the spring from coming unhooked? Also what is the purpose of the spring?

Thanks
