dwhitney64
Hello. I just recently bought my first vending machine. A 1-800 3 canister vending machine. It's gonna be my retirement fund! Right..... Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm looking for the manual, because I don't believe the machine's gears are functioning correctly. Don W. Have you removed the candy wheel from the canisters and given them a good cleaning yet? They may be gummed up from the previous owner

dwhitney64
Shane that's terrific thanks. I did get my issue corrected. The previous owner had the hopper upside down which was forcing the canisters higher and the gears were not meshing. Now resolved and working correctly. Any opinions on how much bulk candy should be dispensed? M & Ms. Or similar. Half ounce? Third of an ounce?
Pete Schweddy
Peanut m&m's 6-8 pieces (If you do less people complain and they sometimes even complain with this amount but they are expensive) M&m's 12-13 Mike and Ike 7-9 Skittles 12-13 Chicklets 10-12 Runts 10-13 This is just a recommendation. Depends on where you get your candy and how much it cost you. So adjust if certain candy is more expensive. Also Sams club has boxes of different candy and gum if you search vending. You should try and keep you candy cost to around 5-8 cents per vend and don't do nuts.
