Sam's Club - Worth It?

I've seen that a lot of people recommend buying gumballs from Sam's. Is that the only bulk vending product you get from there? If so, I can't see how the membership charge could be worth the savings (but hey, I'm a real newbie, I'm sure I must be missing something - right?).

Do you really recommend getting a Sam's membership just to buy the gumballs?

You also have BJ's as well. The prices are about the same (at least here in Ohio) in both stores. I think you can get a box of 850 gumballs for $19.99. The only reason I went to BJ's is because I was able to lock in a membership $5 cheaper and two months longer then what Sam's Club offered. I personally don't but the gumballs as I'm into Honor Mint Boxes but in my opinion, the membership is well worth it. It all depends on how far you will take vending and how often you are looking to purchase gumballs. For myself I only paid $40 for 14 months which is $2.85 a month which is a great deal when you factor in the savings you receive. When it comes to bulk vending you can also purchase your M&M's, Skittles, and Mike n Ikes as well.

Heck yeah its worth it. I'm in Sams at least once a week. A basic membership is like 20 bucks. I've got a business plus it's a 100 a year. I get in before the basic members and get in and out in less than ten minutes.

For the business I get PMM, Skittles and 850.  Spend about $400-$500 month on those.  I suppose if you only buy 5 boxes a year it may not be worth it assuming you can't use any of the other products that Sam's sells.

Yes, I highly recommend Sam's Club. I've been using them for nearly five years now. I would have gone with Costco, but they don't have all the products I need.  It's worth the membership to just about any of the warehouses.
