Just Keep your eyes open Found #8, only #12 to go

A few months ago a saw a empty 2 bay garage for rent. I kept an eye on it and last night while passing by it I saw a sign that said comming soon and a guy outside. IT took 5 mins to land the deal. 3rd party coke machine 20 oz bottles at $1.50, 20% commisison

Networking is Alwsome! got #7 ,Just 13 to go!

I went to a networking event like business after hours that the chamber does, but this was for the north east part of town. The mayor was there and everyone was introduced. We were at a new skilled nursing facility. When it was my turn the Staff were nodding as if they needed vending. I spoke to the administrator and landed the facility. They currently have 50 employees and will be increasing to 150 over the next 18 month. the vending machine will be in the dining hall and accessible to patients

Landed #6, only 14 left

I went to service my bulk route and I stopped by a mechanical shop. I have asked many times but never got a hlod of the decision maker. This time I did. He said that he needed to talk with his partners, 15 mins latter he called and approved a coke machine. 12 oz can for $.75 no commission

Only 15 Locs Left, Just got #5

I was running the bulk part of my route and A Lumber warehouse I have had for years approved location #5 with 0 Commissions. I attended a trade show for the El Paso Apartment Association on Tuesday. I got contact from 15 Apartment Managers who what to talk about putting in drink machines. I hope to be posting more locs soon!

Landed #4 only 16 to go!

Today I landed THe Used Car Lot/Used Tire Shop/Mechinic Shop where my wife's uncle started working about 2 weeks ago. I will be putting in cans at $1.00 ea.

#3 down leaving 17 needed

I went today looking to buy a van. I bought a van and landed a location, too. As I was leaving, I said "Would you be interested in a soda machine?" His response was "Of course!" easist location I have landed in my almost 3 years of vending!!

# 2 landed, 18 left.

This location I picked up last week. I stoped in at a local motel. I asked the magic question "Are you happy with your vending service?" They practilly screemed NO! Needless to say, it was easy landing that location. Coke machines should be delivered in 2-3 weeks. The most agervating part of 3rd party vending is the 3 week lead time on a machine. I plan to order a few to keep on hand for quick delivery, but I am not ready to do that yet.

My first new location on my quest to quit my job was a wharehouse. This location see 25 - 30 driver per day.

Count down to full time

I have done the math and I need 20 more soda locations that generate $100 per month profit inorder to quit my job. I figure that $100 per month profit is not a high goal and some locations will generate more profit and count as more that 1 location for my goal. I will post a countdown as I aquire more and more locations. I will post 3 quick post for the frist 3 locations I have gotten thus far to get caught up

The Decision To Expand

I have been working my vending business part time for over 2 yrs now. At first I did not have the capital to expand my full line vending. I now have over a year with Coke as a 3rd party vendor. From what I can tell on the forum, I have a very good deal with them. I have been slowly adding a loc here and another there, but working full time, serviing at church, and having a family with 2 kids under 3yrs has not left me with alot of time to build the business.
