tshaas69
Just recently acquired a Mega-Vend 3 head bulk candy machine. Sad thing is two of the heads had rust all over the sweeper springs. Anyone know where I can find the springs? Been surfing the net and have only found globes for the old acorn and beaver machines.

Ive never been able to find them without buying the whole wheel, but I have 2 triples that im using for parts. I only need save the springs out of 1, so i should have all the 24 springs in the other triple that I could sell. Make me an offer.
tshaas69
On a whim I followed some old wives tale advice. One of the old men I see on a regular daily basis stated that vinegar will remove rust. Jokingly I said BS. I tried it just to prove them wrong. To my surprise I was proven wrong. The vinegar not only removed 99% of the rust in 4 hours but took it all to bare metal..removing what little nickle plating there was left. Vendsmarts..I wouldn't even know where to start with an offer. Just starting the business.

vendsmarts
The hardware department at Lowes or Home Depot will have springs. You can try hardwear stores, but Ive only been able to find springs for stiring there. I will post a picture later of one of the springs with a ruler next to it. If for any reason the springs are too small at top, you can bend them out. I can sell them to you for 50 cents each and a $2 shipping charge. I can sell springs 24 total. So you would be looking at $14 with shipping all together.
