BlakDrgn Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 So I recently acquired a Mars Series 2000 bill validator for application to my fathers old coke machine. I'm going to use the simple pulsed output to trigger a relay and interface that to the machines coin counter. My problem is, I've gotten the unit powered up, but alas, I cant get it to enable. Constant 2 flashes on the back. I'm a tad scared to try jumping wires on the harness, in fear of shorting the unit out. Does anyone have experience in manually enabling one of these units? That there is soda in the machine, the coins in the coin changer are filled at least half way, and that the switches on the side of the bill acceptor are set to the following: 1. On 2. On 3. Off 4.
