Davis Caroline
Today I went into a Kroger here in North Carolina and saw a large rack, and a large gumball machine with Folz stickers on them and no contact info besides the old Folz info. In addition, there was a super bounce ball machine with a Coinstar sticker there as well that also had no contact information. The machines were nasty and not full. I was very surprised to see this in a large chain grocery store. A few questions (thanks in advance): 1) These could be anybody's right? Folz/Coinstar sold all bulk off - correct? 2) A Kroger down the street has a Vendo-matic company rack, and another local Kroger has no machines at all. Is that odd? I would think that all stores (especially in one region) would have a contract with the same vendor. 3) Any idea what commission is paid for these types of locations and is the commission sent to the national headquarters or individual stores? havending
Vendomatic prob owns the folz rack. The folz machines were sold to many companies and vendomatic would have been in a great position to purchase some. As far as the one location not having machines this is not uncommon many times the store managers do have say so in placement or having them at all. Corp accounts money is always sent in. The rate on this account is prob around 40% Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
Davis Caroline
Thanks for the feedback. Very helpful. I think there are also 1 to 2 machines 'dumped' there as well. Should be interesting to check out and see what happens in the coming months.
