Duplicating barrel keys

Has anyone been able to get barrel keys duplicated at their local locksmith. I was under the impression that those keys cannot easily be duped but I am going to call the locksmith places near here and ask if it can be done. The Nightmare route only had one key for most of the Vendstar coin doors and I really need a have a spare so me and my partner can service it more easily. All machines of any type should be shipped with two keys unless you are getting matching locks for all your machines. Imagine losing a key. You are screwed until you can drill the lock out. Not very convenient when the machine is on location. Not sure why some companies do not do that. The cost is minimal. Even the DI machines only come with one key per head which actually suprised me given the above average cost per head.  Polecat are you listening?

Yeah, I found a locksmith in my area that does them. Did it for me for 6 bucks.
