Vendstar Sticking Quarter Mod

Here is another mod for the Vendstars that may be handy. Anyone with these machines has probably noticed that a number of quarters will just lay about on the top of the product chute.

You can make this mod with a bicycle inner-tube and superglue. Just cut a section of the inner-tube about 2" long, then cut it into 2 equal width sizes. Looking at the pic you will see that it is glued at the bottom only between the coin mech and the chute, just under the spider wheel.

You can see a piece of the inner-tube laying on the chute opening for width size reference.

Good idea, however, I find that after about 5 quarters stack up, the next few will push the whole pile off (Only 10-15% of the time it will jam).

Ignorant adults, or immature kids shaking the machine will get them off, too.
