First Machine Big Choice Claw

Just picked up a old two button style Big Choice Claw that was re-themed. Had a few questions:

1. Game is set for 50 cents a credit, anyway to make 25 cents? I do plan on installing a small push button switch to credit up as well.

2. The game has the AC-1 board which is not able to accept a joystick control. If I find the board that is and joystick of course is there anything else I would need? Could I use existing power supply, wiring ( I know I would need to add more wires for joystiq) etc.?

3. Has anyone ridge theirs so you don't have to push the glass up so high to replace prizes? Issue if you don't have high ceilings.
