Bevmax 5800 (Coke board) Picker Cup keeps freezing

Hi Everyone,

It's been quite some time since I posted here. I have grown my route to about 100 machines since my last post. Despite how far my "semi tech" skills have come, I still find myself getting stuck and moving past certain issues that seem beyond me at times.

I have a Bev 5800; Excellent shape and I am having issues where the cup keeps freezing near the wall after a failed vend. It is happening intermittently which makes it hard to trouble shoot on the spot.

Issues noticed

·         During a position test, the cup sometimes slams all the way against the top and the bottom. (Unless I turn the cup sensor on, which I usually leave off on all my Bevmaxes).

·         When I pull up error codes, it varies. Sometimes I get vertical and horizontal errors and other times I get vend mechanism.

·         Heard the X motor make a loud crank at one point

·         Belts may be a bit loose, but if so, not significantly.

·         The encoder numbers are a bit wacky when I move the cup up or down

Things I've done so far

·         Changed Y Motor (Still getting strange encoder codes)

·         Disconnected and reconnected harnesses on Y board to reestablish communication between cup and y board.

·         Changed broken gates, and cleaned sticky pushers.

·         Changed the Picker Cup

·         Control board is checking out well and has 3 lights on.

·         Adjusted machine to proper shelf off-set and hook off-set settings.

Things I have not tried yet, that I think could be causing issue?

·         Tighten belts (They may be a little loose but I am not sure)

·         Change X motor

·         Change Y board

·         Replaced Port Sensor

I need help as this has been my most persistent issue up until now.
