CPI (MEI) Talos T7 won't clear Coin Return bracket on 2010 AMS 39" Combo, anyone encounter this??

I have a bunch of AMS 39" Sensit Combo's from 2010 in my fleet. I had them all outfitted with MEI VNR Recyclers from around 2012 in them all. A couple are in very high volume, dirty locations and I was in the process of upgrading to a new MEI (CPI) recycler comparable to the VNR Recycler. They told me the Talos T7 was the replacement to the older VNR Recycler. However when I tried to install the unit, the recycler itself hits the Coin Return bracket/mechanism and will not sit flush, even with a spacer.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a workaround or a kit to help mount it?
