Hello

I'm new in this business and this forum is definatly encouraging.

I have placed so far two machines the first in a gas station

and the second one in a hair salon.  Both machines are triples

from xyz. I have bought a third  single machine seems to be easier to

service and also it takes less space to place. Many places comment

that they have no  space so  I figure I will have more chances with a single

or a double machine. My concern is having trouble to place machines

so far I have not placed the third machine, I get many rejections.

Some of you write that you bought like five to ten machines at a time

which bying for me is the easy part placing them is another. And you are going

to place them in the same week which seem kind of hard to accomplish.

I'm thinking about contacting locating companies but if they charge sixty dollars

per machine placed and the machine costs about seventy five for a single

it will take a lot of time to make any net profit, unless it' s in a top location.

Any thoughts appreciated

thanks

George

george,

keep at it. you can get the locations yourself, you just have to keep going. its anumbers game. dont give up, everyone else has the same problems. you may go into 30 locations before you get a yes. but in the next 30 you may get 10.

good luck

Thanks Steve

You are welcome. I do agree with pusherman as well. You would be much better served locating for yourself. Professional locators have their place as they are great for getting you up and running quickly or they are great when you just don't have the time to do in person locating. If you need one, It's best to get quality results for the least cost.

Hello, George.  If you haven't already, you might want to take a gander at this thread: http://www.vendiscuss.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=32&forum_id=1   it is a discussion about the 'sales pitch'/approach various members use.  Perhaps that will give you some ideas.  I have found locating to be pretty easy so far, but I am pretty new and I think my experience isn't so common.  Maybe it's just beginner's luck so far :)

Hello there.  I wonder if you'd like to look me in the eye and remember that you can always try to forget to remember, or even to forget to forget, but if you remember to forget that it would be pleasant to have a vending machine here, wouldn't it?  And the more you try to stop, the more you won't, so the more you do, the more you don't .. even consider it.  I totally agree with you, where WOULD the best spot be for the machine?
