I have one word for you......NEXT!, If you get a no on placing a machine, for whatever reason, move on. There are way too many potential locations to worry about a few you'd like to be in. It took me a while to realize that. The best way to get in if you really want to, is to take the time to develop a relationship with the decision maker. Over time, gain his/her respect as a legitimate business person. Then gently remind them about your business. Visit them one day out of the blue and say something like "Hey Joe, I was just servicing my new account next door and I thought I would drop in to say hello." Eventually, they may even start to ask you how your business is going. Thats when you know they are nibbling on the hook. Be patient and wait until they bite, Then set the hook! I've done it this way for a while. It takes some invested time but it may pay off for you.
