Hillbilly
I've never refurbished any but I have 3 out in the field. Even though they are all plastic, I've never had a bit of trouble with them.
haulman01
are the doors and handles plastic?, cuz it seemed like they were metal and pitting or rusting, i could get close to them, they were blocked by some other junk
Hillbilly
Yes, About the only thing metal on them is the locks and the springs that hold the doors on. Even the mechs are plastic. Most are yellow and black or red and black.
Hillbilly
Just remember that dirt and old dried up crusty hard candy goop can be cleaned up with some elbow grease and Pine-sol. Check out my refurb pics, I have had some bad ones that have turned out really good. Good way to get your feet in the door if your mechanically inclined. Hillbilly
Thanks Kelly. I really have a passion for it. I'm actually thinking of incorporating it into my business for profit. May dabble a little bit first and see if I can make any money at it.
