Pbuckler
I have a Maka NB-1KB-400 bill val. in an old National 145 snack machine. When I bought the machine the dbv needed the belts replaced so I did it and it worked fine until now. Yesterday while at the location I noticed the dbv would not accept a bill. From the outside of the machine it seems like the dbv isn't powered up, since nothing at all happens while attempting to insert a bill. After opening the machine and listening really closely, it is making a VERY faint clicking and a very faint humming noise. I only had time to reset the power, check the connections, etc. I'm heading back to the location in a few hours and will do a quick visual check for any obstructions, etc. Then will remove it from the machine and bring it home if I can't figure it out while I'm there. Any suggestions? I will probably bring it home to diagnose but may need to figure out a way to power it up at home.
