Has anyone done a comparision between Southern Beaver vs. Beaver Round?

Yes, save $$ if you are buying them new. If buying used, it won't make any difference at all. The quality is much the same. Globes are made of the same material. Locks are the same. Mechs are the same (New generation offered on both). Watch the kid choose between the Gold trim with crappy stuff in it and the SB with good stuff. See which one he puts his quarter in.
