Big Mike
How many pieces in a 3lb bag
polecat
Mike: There are 960 to 1,000 pieces in a 3lb. bag. This equates to 480 to 500 servings. The bags are filled based on weight, not count, so the quantity varies slightly. We've counted at least 50 bags and this is the typical range. So... one 3lb. bag of DI will generate between $120 and $125 in revenue. Also, because of the number of servings per bag, you don't have to service it as often. A 3lb. bag of Certs has about 400 servings, producing approx. $100 revenue per bag. Depending on order quantity, you can expect an average vend cost of about .065 to.075. Hope this helps. caserri
Who are you and what have you done with Big Mike?!? You are the last person I thought would be asking about DI. According to Steve P, there are 480 to 500 servings so I would assume that means 960 to 1000 pcs per bag. Steve

Mike: I mentioned the figures on the Certs at the end of my last post: About 800 pieces/400 servings. Will generate about $100 per bag.
