acvending
http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/candywarehouse_1985_190971793 I bought a small package of Canada Mints today at the supermarket to test and see how they would vend because I can buy them bulk 5lb bags for 15 bucks. They are about 3/4 in in diameter by about 1/4 in thick. Tried them in the candy wheel of a Vendstar 3000 and ran into jamming issues and inconsistent vends. Tried them in a Northwestern 60 with the 1 inch gumball wheel and similar results more due to its brush housing than the wheel itself. Candy would jam between the springs and the wheel as it turned. See pic: I even tested in a DI machine but the DI wheel openings are to small. The Canada Mint won't fit. Before anyone says anything, yes, I know, SPV has Certs as well but I am still looking at alternatives, plus I can get the Canada Mints in flavors Peppermint, Spermint, Wintergreen and even Chocolate. Basically some of the same flavors as Necco Wafers and Conversation Hearts
