JLM Vending
Does anyone use sealers or compressors for their candy? I just found some hot tamales that were sealed up for about 6 months in my closet. And i opened up and tasted them and they tasted completely fresh. Where as i had some that were in a regular plastic bag for only a few months and didn't have anywhere near the same freshness. The problem is i don't think i can use them for plain mms because it breaks them. But then again plain mms don't sell well for me anyways. The gumballs that were sealed up for several months maintained all it's freshness. So now it's time for me to use these up on my route and when i move candy out of a machine to replace it with something else, i will definitely seal my candy, I can save lots of spoilage. timberframe50
I actually think this is a great idea. I'm going to try this on location. I think I can seal the lid, globe, and hopper without affecting the operation. This could be a savor for those slow candy locations.
