gcj58fl
Hi, Im new to vending and have been excited about my new adventure - UNTIL --- I contacted the city clerks office to inquire about any lic/tax info that I would need to place machines in the city limits. City of Live Oak,Suwannee County, Florida. Well to my disbelief I was told that I would have to pay $75.00 per machine placed in the city per year! I told them that these were only .25 machines but it made no difference to them. The machines are triple candy with NCCS charity labels on them. Has anyone out there run in to this problem. I just dont see how they can justify this amount. Thanks for any help or info. DISCOURAGED!
gcj58fl
Problem Solved! After talking to the city manager he understood my request and issued my license. The clerk I originally spoke with was quoting me the fees for "Gambling machines".
