Do you offer your locations the option of commission or charity?

I push for the charity 1st, but some owners have asked me whats in it for them.  So, in those cases, I switch to offering a commission.  I would try not to offer more than 20%, preferably lower.

I only offer charity. I have never been asked for a commision, I suppose I might if thats the only way to get in. Once you say You represent a cancer charity I dont think anyone would say they would rather have a commision. I use NCCS

For me it depends on the type of equipment I'm trying to place. If I am courting a location that will only accommodate a single or a double, then I'm a charity vendor. If it's a busy pizza place with room for a rack, then I'm pushing the commissions.

I have to go with Steve on this question. You have to look at the location and decide as you walk in the door. What's it going to be? Commission or Charity. Which one would you pick?

That is a good question.  A nd good info to keep in mind.  I just do not think I can handle ( personally ) lugging around racks and multiple machines to a location as attractive and lucrative as it may be.  At least not now.
