Poplady1 Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 My sister started her route a little over a year ago. She built it up to about 40 boxes then let it rest. It didn't take too long for about 10 locations to call saying to pick them up for a variety of reasons such as: the manager wants it out, just don't like it, the employees are eating too much stuff, etc. And there were some that the theft was just way too much to keep it on site. She is down now to about 25 accounts. I took a look at some of the incomes on them. They were doing pretty good but after a while some would start going higher on the shortages. I suggested she look for countertop snack unitss on Craigs List. She started buying them for about $50 to $75 bucks. When a account would start to go bad she would ask them if they would like to switch over to a countertop. Bottom line is she now has a mix of boxes and countertops.
